Drugs do Exist for Treatment

There are several different types of abnormal, pathological anxieties, fears, phobias and nervous conditions that can occur suddenly or gradually over a span of years and one common blanket term for these illnesses is acute anxiety disorder. This type of disorder may result in the impairment or prevention of normal daily routines in the patient and both anxiety as well as fear is an omnipresent emotion.

Though the term anxiety as well as fear have scientifically different interpretations, in common parlance the two terms are used interchangeably. This is so in the case of phobia which is another form of anxiety and can be defined as being fear that persists or is irrational and fear is defined as an emotional as well as physiological reply to external threats as they are perceived by the patient and such external threats may be a crash that is about to take place or a runaway car.

Types of Disorders

The different types of acute acute anxiety disorder include panic disorder, agoraphobia, social acute anxiety disorder (social phobia), specific phobia or simple phobia, generalized acute anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. The panic disorder relates to experiencing periods of fear that is very intense or is a psychological distress that comes about abruptly and lasts as little as half an hour and common symptoms are trembling, shortness of breath, palpitations of the heart, sweating, nausea, dizziness and hyperventilation as well as tingling sensations and also a feeling of being choked.

Social acute acute anxiety disorder are an experiencing of fear, apprehension or worry in respect to certain social situations as well as being worried about how they are perceived or evaluated by other people. This is a psychiatric disorder and the patient needs psychiatric treatment. Specific phobia occurs when there is any type of acute anxiety disorder that can be thought of as being unreasonable or an irrational feeling of fear that is caused by being exposed to definite objects or situations. The affected person is prone to actively avoiding direct contact with the object or situation.

The general acute anxiety disorder is a condition which has the characteristics of excessive as well as uncontrollable worrying about normal everyday activities. There is a disproportionate intensity as well as duration of this form of acute anxiety disorder in relation to the actual source of worry and causes the patient to have his or her daily life disrupted.

While obsessive-compulsive disorder is really a psychiatric disorder and more specifically an acute anxiety disorder that manifests itself in a number of different ways but is mainly linked to obsessive thinking as well as related compulsions that are used to counteract the fixation. Finally, the post-traumatic stress disorder is an acute anxiety disorder that is caused by exposure to or confrontation with stressful experiences, which are considered highly traumatic by the patient.

An acute anxiety disorder can, in most cases be debilitating and that too, chronically and may begin at a young age or may suddenly be triggered after a triggering event occurs. However, there are many drugs that can be used to treat it, so hope is not lost for patients of acute acute anxiety disorder.

Religion Induced Anxiety

6:02 am

Is Religion Induced Anxiety Good For You?

The fact is that no anxiety, whether religion induced or not, is good for you.

Anxiety has some serious long term side effects that should be taken into consideration, and a healthy, stress free lifestyle should be priority #1.

The state of the world after 9/11 has left us fearful, depressed, and stressed.

An event that shocked the world, and brought many people closer together, and unfortunately, tore others apart.

Throughout the ages, many acts have been committed in the name of religion, and unfortunately, for those people who are nearby when these acts happen, religion induced anxiety is inevitable.

Like any form of anxiety, Religion induced anxiety can be repressed, or cleared completely, by preparation, and a focused lifestyle.

Things like Yoga, meditation, reading calming material, and avoiding negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, hate, and sadness, can have a positive long term effect if you are ever put into a situation that is brought about by Religion induced anxiety.

The most important thing to keep in mind though, is that these ‘acts’ that occur, are not a major part of life, the more you focus on them, the worse they seem, and the worse they seem, the more anxiety you feel.

This is why meditation is such a key ingredient to living anxiety free, be it Religion induced or not.

By increasing your stress tolerance levels, you are able to avoid feeling anxious in any event, you become the unmovable mountain, the eye of the storm, the calm before the wind.

One such program that you can use to help with increasing your stress tolerance is Holosync. Holosync works on frequencies, and, without going into much detail, works by taking you into a conscious meditative state.

While it is one of the best programs out there, nothing beats taking yourself out to a quiet, peaceful place, either in the mountains, in the rain forest, or beach, and just sitting quietly by yourself, and letting your thoughts go.

The bottom line is, Religion induced anxiety, is no different to any of the other forms of anxiety, and while there is medication that you can take when an anxiety attack occurs, it is best if you can follow preventative measures, to ensure that it doesn’t occur. The only way to truly do this is to lead a stress free, anxiety free lifestyle, by increasing your stress tolerance, practicing meditation, and allowing yourself to feel free.

There are many forms of social anxiety, every tried to stand up and give a speech?

That is a form of social anxiety, but can also be tied down to performance anxiety aswell. But it is most certainly not limited to this, other limitations may be, meeting new people or friends, eating with other company, small talk, “elevator” confrontation and group activities.

Child Anxiety – Anxiety in children

7:15 am

The most prevalent problem with children and adolescents in today’s society is anxiety and child anxiety. This is even higher then depression and stress.

Some of the symptoms that you will see in your children that suffer from anxiety are, shyness, not wanting to go to school, not wanting to go out with friends, unusually quite and coming home from school or activities looking dejected and or sad.

Obviously there are many other reasons why these symptoms could be prevalent but the most common one is anxiety in children.

How can I help my child with anxiety?

Just because your child is shy or suffering from some of the above problems does not mean they will be unsuccessful in life. In fact there are varying degrees of child anxiety.

Most children will have it in one form or another, so unless it is severely preventing your child from certain things, it won’t need treatment.

Some of the treatments that you can use with your child are things such as joining them into a group sport that they like such as soccer, football and other type sports. There are also relaxing hypnosis tapes that can help if they are needed.

But the best way to deal with extreme child anxiety is through a child psychologist.

Spotting child anxiety.

This is difficult to grasp as it is in almost every case, present to a certain degree. For example take a shy child. That for all looks is successful in all other parts of life but just shy around people.

At first notice you would just say, “Oh she or he is just shy, that’s all” but upon closer look, put in certain cases and situations this can effect the decisions that are made. For example if a decision requires the child to be overly noticed, then chances are that decision won’t be made.

Or a decision that will place her in a more un-noticed situation will be chosen.

That is just an example but shows how what appears to be nothing too much, can be a form of anxiety.
